DAY 1 : CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES
“Moroccolors Tours” invites you to explore Morocco in private and guided tour from Casablanca. Visit Casablanca the economic capital of morocco and the the great mosque of Hassan II, after that’s we continue our trip to Rabat the capital of the kingdom with its great historic monuments:, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the great Hassan Tour and the Kasbah of Ouidaias and Chellah. Departure in direction of Meknes where you will spend the night in a hotel.
DAY 2 : MEKNES – FES
What to visit in Meknes: the tomb of Moulay Ismail, the place of El Hedime, Bab Mansour and more great historic places and by the way to fes we cn visit the forgotten roman ruins of Volubilis. After you’ll be headed to Fés. Accommodation in a hotel in Fes
DAY 3 : FES
All day to visit the city of Fés, its rich architecture, the fascinating medina, as well as myriad of historical monuments, all contributing to be the cultural city of Morocco
The Medina of fes , the source of much of Fez attraction, is comprised of two separate cities: Fes el Bali and Fes el Djedid.
Fes el Djedid is the new Fes, built by the Merenides in the 13th century. Most of the area was occupied by a royal palace, one of the most sumptuous and complex in Morocco, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Unfortunately, access to the palace is now restricted to special guests.
Fes el Bali is the old Fes, a labyrinth of lanes and blind alleys dominated by a vast enclosure of royal palaces, gardens and souks. It is here that you want to spend most of your time exploring the Imperial City of Fez.
DAY 4 : FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – ERRACHIDIA – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA
Departure towards Ifrane. Crossing the High Atlas through Azrou and the greatest forest of North Africa, then Midelt, the dam of Errachidia, the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley until you’ll arrive at Erfoud. Enjoy the sunset over the East Borj, offering a magnificent landscape. After you’ll be taken to spend the night in the Dunes of Erg Chebbi, on a hotel just at the outskirts of the desert.
DAY 5 : ERG CHEBBI – ERG CHEBBI
After breakfast, you’ll take a great journey around the dunes passing by 2 Merzouga Oases, the nomad’s storage, the village Khamlia (village of the blacks), the mines of Mifiss, the barren plateaux, the Berber nomads, the Oasis of Tissardmine and finally coming back to the Hotel around 3 pm. You’ll then take a caravan of camels to watch the sunset over the dunes. They will take you to a nomad camp where you’ll sleep in middle of the desert in nomad tents, under a starry sky.
DAY 6 : ERG CHEBBI – – RISSANI – ERFOUD – ERG CHEBBI
After the return of the oasis, you’ll take the road to Visit Rissani and its famous Gate, the ancient royal palace and its Souk. Around midday, you can enjoy the city’s speciality: Saharan pizza. After lunch, you can visit the fossil quarry and then head back to the Hotel in merzouga.
DAY 7 : ERG CHEBBI – ERFOUD – TODRA – DADES
Start the day in direction of Erfoud to see the foggaras (ancient fifteen century pipes), the palm grove of Tinhgir ( the largest in Morocco) and arriving at the Todra Canyon. Lunch served in bottom of the Canyon. You’ll cross the village of Boumalne, the valley of Dades to join the canyon of Dades where you’ll spend the night in a inn.
DAY 8 : DADES – VALLEY OF ROSES – MOUNTAIN BOUTGHRAR – OURZAZATTE:
Route of the Thousand Kasbahs
Taking the road through the Valley of Roses to the Thousand Kasbahs and arriving at the city of Ouarzazate, the famed Hollywood of Morocco; visit the Kasbah Taourirt. Night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
DAY 9 : OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH
Leaving Ouarzazate behind to visit the World UNESCO site of Ait Benhaddou where great films where shot like: “Laurence of Arabia”, “Obelix”, “The Mummy”, and many more. Back on the road again to Marrakech with stops in wondeful views of the High Atlas then cross again to follow the path to Marrakech, but not without passing through the impressive mountain pass of Tizi n’Tichka (2260m alt) of great beauty. Night in a hotel in Marrakech.
DAY 10 : Marrakech – Marrakech
Visit the city of Marrakech: its architecture, the ancient Medina, the grand historical monuments ( tombs, mosques, kasbahs….) and of course, you can’t leave Marrakech without experience the Jemaa El Fna Plaza. Without doubt, Marrakech is the capital of tourism in Morocco. Night in a Hotel.
DAY 11 : MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA
Departure from Marrakech towards Essaouira. The city suddenly appears over a great rocky peninsula, with its white walls, blue doors and windows. The beauty of it all, the softness of colours and light, the fresh climate in the summer create an ambience that reins it.
Essaouira is where the sea and the dreams are infinite, where ancient stories are marked on the small port, on the fort of Vauban, and the labyrinth of streets hide so many tales. Spend the night in a hotel in Essaouira to experience all of this.
DAY 12 : ESSAOUIRA – EL JADIDA – CASABLANCA
Leaving Essaouira to Casablanca, crossing the immense landscapes El Jadida, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a former Portuguese colony with its fortified and moated medina lying adjacent to the harbour. Traces of its Portuguese past remain in its lanes and ramparts, and most notably its underground cisterns, pillared and vaulted like a church crypt and illuminated by eerie shafts of sunlight. .
